PRS Product Recovery System

Designed for field portability, rapid installation and efficient recovery of floating hydrocarbons the PRS incorporates a stainless steel bladder pneumatic pump coupled with a unique floating skimmer attachment. This skimmer attachment is available for 2 inch and larger wells and can accommodate ground water fluctuations in excess of 12 inches. The 4 inch model can accommodate ground water fluctuations in excess of 24 inches. The skimmer attachment consists of a hydrophobic polyethylene buoy which is guided by a stainless steel center shaft. The unique skimmer allows free floating product to be skimmed down to less than one hundredth of an inch (0.1 ft.) over the entire effective travel distance of the buoy. The PRS control unit has dual timers which alternate the pressurization and venting of the pump, utilizing a single air source. Also contained within the control unit is a non-electrical tank overfill protection sensor which prohibits the product tank from overflowing. The standard PRS includes a 110V AC 1.25 HP oil-less portable air compressor fitted with an automatic tank drain valve.
