Oxyguard Dissolved Oxygen Sensor
The
robust construction and simple design of the Oxyguard D/O probe
make maintenance and servicing easy. It uses a strong, easy-to-clean
and easy-to-change membrane in a screw-on membrane cap. The probe
design uses a galvanic cell with built-in temperature compensation.
The probe requires no power, and produces a millivolt output proportional
to the oxygen present in the medium in which it is placed. This
millivolt signal can be inputted to a data logger such as the
Starlog via a two core cable. More

Jarek Tipping Bucket Rainfall Gauge
Made
from high quality PVC, the simplistic design of the Jarek Rain
Gauge ensures reliable operation and accurate measurements when
properly installed. The gauge collects rainfall using a funnel
receiver with a 203mm (8") diameter. The rain is then strained
by metal screen before being passed to the PVC tipping bucket
measuring system. The bucket tips when a specified volume of rain
is collected. A reed switch detects each tip and transmits a contact
closure signal to a digital input channel on a data logger such
as the Neon and Starlog Data Loggers or Hobo Event Logger ...

NovaLynx Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge
The NovaLynx Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge is manufactured from high quality anodized and powder coated aluminium. Rainfall entering the 8" funnel collector is directed to the tipping bucket assembly. When an incremental amount of precipitation has been collected, the bucket assembly tips and activates a magnetic reed switch. The sample is discharged through the base of the gauge. A momentary electrical contact closure is provided for each increment of rainfall.
This contact closure can be recorded by the Neon and Starlog Data Loggers or other data acquisition systems...

Model 255 Series Evaporation Station
The 255 Series Evaporation Station is a complete systems used to measure the amount of water lost each day to evaporation. There are two commonly used procedures for making these measurements manually. In both, a Class A Evaporation Pan, 10 inches deep and 47.5 inches in diameter, holds the water and is normally installed on a wooden platform set on the ground in a grassy location.
One alternative for measuring the daily evaporation loss manually is to use a graduated hook gauge set on a stillwell to determine the water level in the pan. The hook gauge is adjusted until the point just breaks the water surface, and a reading is taken from the attached scale. The second alternative uses a stillwell with a fixed point. Each time a measurement is taken, the pan is refilled to the level of the point using a calibrated graduate...
