Analite Analog 9000 Turbidity Probe

Analite 9000, 9500 Turbidity Probe With a very small viewing distance, the Analite 9000 series is ideal for applications with limited water such as small low flow creeks. The 9000 non-wiper version is designed for applications with minimal bio fouling such as fast cold running water, or short monitoring deployments. The 9500 version, with its integral lens wiper assembly, is designed where bio-fouling or sedimentation build up is likely, as well as for long term monitoring applications. The wiper can be controlled by a contact closure output from a data logger or the automatic two-hour wipe feature can be utilized.

The Analite probes use 90° optics and employs infrared light in accordance with ISO7027. All probes use a unique modulation technique that ensures almost total rejection of ambient light conditions, as well as a unique microprocessor controlled differential sample and hold circuit for enhanced performance particularly at low turbidity levels.

Standard ranges are 100, 400 and 1000 NTU with up to 3000 NTU as a special order, and depth rating is certified to 100 meters. An optional PVC housing is available for applications in salty or acidic water where crevice corrosion may occur in standard stainless steel version. Cable assemblies are available with a choice of an economical permanent cable gland or detachable cable connector. Standard output is 0 to 2.5 volts, with other voltage and mA outputs as an option, making interfacing to a wide range of data loggers, such as the Neon and Starlog Data Loggers, or data acquisition systems simpler.

Also available is the Analite NEP180 Turbidity Probe that is designed for applications where very high turbidity is the norm. It uses a larger viewing retro-scatter technology for ranges up to 30,000NTU.
